Before registration, please read the following document, which will also appear in the registration process.

Abstracts

Oral presentation is limited to the invited speakers, but we strongly encourage attendees to submit abstracts as a poster presentation. Please use the following abstract template (DO NOT CHANGE FORMAT) and upload your file in PDF format. An abstract book will be available on-site. For abstract submission, please select one of five sessions:

  1. Advanced imaging with aberration-corrected TEM and STEM
  2. Phase and field imaging, including holography, 4D-STEM, and DPC-STEM
  3. Advanced spectroscopy, including EELS and EDS
  4. In-situ and environmental TEM and STEM
  5. Advanced characterization of functional nanomaterials and devices

Registration Fee

All participants should pay their registration fee in advance. The registration fee will include all technical and poster sessions, daily coffee service, Conference Reception (Jun. 28th), Conference Banquet (Jun. 29th), and Conference Lunch (Jun. 30th). The seating (150) is limited at Official Banquet, we strongly recommend your early registration. We also do not refund for canceling the conference. Since the conference is supported by JSM (The Japanese Society of Microscopy), the registration fee will be half by attending the 79th JSM annual meeting, which will also be held in the same conference place (Jun. 26th to Jun. 28th). During registration, we will ask the participants to input the submission or registration number. The early registration fee (May 19th, 2023) is given below.

Banquet

The Banquet will take place in the evening on June 29th at Yuushien, located in Daikon-island (25 min by car). The seating is limited (150), so we recommend early registration.

Cancelation policy

In principle, we will not refund your registration fee. However, please let us know when you realize you cannot attend the meeting (westec_op1@jtb.com)
